Executive Business Development & Sales – Exhibition & Conferences
· Selling stand space to exhibitors, either by telephone or face-to-face
· Delegate Acquisition
· Finding the new prospects
· Achieving set sales target
· Liaise closely with sales director, Marketing and other decision making level.
· Research and develop a list of potential Exhibitors for each exhibition
· Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential clients & Exhibitors.
· Delegate administrative functions to assistance where possible
· Excellent sales skills
· Good communication skills
· The ability to build good working relationships with all kinds of people
· The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
· Good negotiation skills
· A knowledge of marketing
· The ability to work as part of a team and also on your own initiative
